Round Seven Playtest Notes

When: Saturday, Feb 8, 2003, 6:30pm

Who: Me, Rachel, Dana Marie

Experience: Rachel and DM's first contact with this game. They both like games.

Notes:

They immediately got the gist of the game. I was surprised.

We played a round with three players, each player starting with two white and four black stones. We had to get cups from the other room (urgh) and we weren't sure what to do with the 4-sided dice. This is a real problem, as they don't have a satisfactory base state, and are difficult to explain to new players beyond, 'You don't use those yet. Put them somewhere.'

Problem: The act of bidding was always awkward. After rolling, everyone looked around at everyone else, since there was no obvious 'right of way' for the next turn. There were no other significant problems.
